Welcome to WeddingVendorz.in (“Website” / “Platform”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform and Services offered through it.

By accessing, browsing, registering, listing, or using this Platform in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of these Terms:

  1. “Platform / Website” refers to https://weddingvendorz.in and related applications/services, if any.
  2. “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to the owner/operator of WeddingVendorz.in.
  3. “User” refers to any person who visits or uses the Platform, including Customers and Vendors.
  4. “Customer / Client” refers to users who browse, shortlist, enquire, or contact Vendors for wedding services.
  5. “Vendor / Service Provider” refers to businesses or individuals offering wedding-related goods/services and listing on the Platform.
  6. “Content” refers to all text, images, videos, listings, reviews, logos, pricing information, and other materials posted or displayed on the Platform.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

  1. The Platform operates as an online wedding vendor directory/marketplace, enabling Customers to discover Vendors and send enquiries or requests.
  2. The Platform is not a wedding planner, agent, contractor, broker, guarantor, or service provider of Vendor services.
  3. Any booking, contract, deliverables, timelines, pricing, refunds, and service quality are solely determined between the Customer and Vendor.

3. ELIGIBILITY

  1. You must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  2. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business/entity, you confirm you are authorised to bind that entity.

4. USER ACCOUNTS & REGISTRATION

4.1 Customer Accounts

  1. Customers may browse the Platform without registration.
  2. Certain features may require registration (such as enquiry submission, shortlisting, or review posting).
  3. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

4.2 Vendor Accounts

  1. Vendors must register to create a listing and/or receive enquiries.
  2. Vendors must provide true business information, including trade name, contact details, service category, and operating location(s).
  3. Vendors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.

4.3 Account Security

  1. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  2. You agree to notify the Company immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

4.4 Account Suspension/Termination

We may suspend/terminate accounts without notice if we believe a User:

  • violates these Terms,
  • engages in prohibited conduct, or
  • submits fraudulent information/content.

5. VENDOR LISTINGS & CONTENT RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 Vendor Listing Accuracy

  1. Vendors agree that listing information (pricing, packages, images, availability, service areas) must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
  2. Vendors are solely responsible for all claims, statements, and information in their listings.

5.2 Verification

  1. The Platform may (but is not obligated to) verify Vendor information.
  2. Any verification does not constitute endorsement, warranty, or guarantee.

5.3 Listing Moderation

The Company reserves the right to:

  • approve or reject listings,
  • remove/edit content,
  • disable listings that violate Platform guidelines or law.

6. CUSTOMER ENQUIRIES & COMMUNICATIONS

  1. Customers may submit enquiries to Vendors through the Platform.
  2. Vendors may contact Customers via phone/email/WhatsApp or other channels as provided in enquiry details.
  3. Customers agree that submitting an enquiry constitutes permission for Vendors/Company to contact them regarding the enquiry.

7. ROLE OF PLATFORM — INTERMEDIARY DISCLAIMER

  1. The Platform only provides technology-based facilitation for discovery and enquiries.
  2. The Platform does not:
    • guarantee Vendor availability,
    • guarantee pricing accuracy,
    • guarantee service quality or outcomes,
    • participate in negotiations,
    • supervise Vendor performance, or
    • provide warranties for Vendor services.
  3. Any contract is strictly between the Customer and Vendor, and the Platform is not a party to such contract.

8. PROHIBITED USE & CONDUCT

Users agree not to:

  1. upload false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, obscene, discriminatory, or illegal content;
  2. impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation;
  3. use the Platform for spam, mass messaging, scams, or unlawful solicitation;
  4. reverse engineer, scrape, copy, reproduce, or exploit Platform data/lists without written permission;
  5. post content violating third-party IP rights (copyright/trademark);
  6. introduce malware, viruses, or attempt unauthorised access to systems;
  7. violate applicable Indian laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.

9. REVIEWS, RATINGS & USER SUBMISSIONS

  1. Customers may post reviews/ratings based on genuine experiences.
  2. Reviews must not contain:
    • abusive language,
    • personal data of others,
    • defamatory or illegal allegations.
  3. We may remove reviews that violate policy/law or appear fake/manipulated.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

10.1 Platform IP

  1. The Platform, its design, logo, graphics, code, and content (except Vendor/Customer content) are owned by the Company and protected by applicable laws.
  2. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

10.2 Vendor Content License

By uploading content to the Platform, Vendors grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, modify (formatting/resizing), and publish such content for Platform operations and promotion.

10.3 Third-Party Rights

Users confirm they have all rights and permissions to upload any content. If any infringement occurs, the uploader will be responsible.

11. FEES / COMMERCIAL TERMS (IF APPLICABLE)

  1. Some Vendor features may be offered as paid promotions/subscriptions.
  2. Any applicable commercial terms, if offered, will be displayed separately and/or governed by additional agreement(s).
  3. The Company may change pricing/features at its discretion.

12. DISCLAIMERS

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  1. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

    • Vendor services will meet expectations,
    • listings will be error-free,
    • the Platform will always be secure or available.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  1. The Company shall not be liable for:
    • quality, safety, legality, or delivery of Vendor services,
    • disputes between Vendors and Customers,
    • loss of money, advance payments, or deposits made to Vendors,
    • damages arising from Vendor misconduct, delays, cancellations, or negligence.
  2. In any event, the Company’s total liability (if any) shall not exceed the amount paid by the User to the Company (if any) in the preceding 3 months, or INR 1,000, whichever is lower.

14. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of:

  1. your use of the Platform,
  2. breach of these Terms,
  3. violation of any law or third-party rights,
  4. disputes between Vendor and Customer.

15. PRIVACY

  1. Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
  2. Users agree that personal data may be processed as per the Privacy Policy and applicable laws in India.

16. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES

The Platform may contain links to third-party sites or enable integrations (e.g., WhatsApp, social media). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

17. TERMINATION OF ACCESS

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Platform without notice if:

  • you violate these Terms,
  • we receive legal complaints,
  • you harm Platform integrity or other users.

Termination does not affect accrued rights or liabilities.

18. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for failure/delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, internet outages, strikes, government actions, pandemics, or system failures.

19. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION (INDIA)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
  2. Parties shall attempt amicable resolution within 30 days of written notice.
  3. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts at [City, State], India.

20. CHANGES TO TERMS
